Just when we thought Radiohead's music couldn't get any more exploratory –– it appears we were wrong! Billboard reports that both Radiohead and Mumford & Sons have allowed their music to be given a "mariachi makeover" in the upcoming animated film The Book of Life.

Inspired by Mexican folk art and Day of Dead folklore, and created by Fox, The Book of Life is set to hit theaters this coming October 17 and star the voices of Christina Applegate, Zoe Saldana and Channing Tatum.

Radiohead's iconic "Creep" and Mumford & Sons' "I Will Wait" have both been inserted into the film and completely transformed to flow with the Mexican vibe. The man behind the transformation of the tunes is composer Gustavo Santaolalla.

Producer Guillermo del Toro has said, "Mexico is more than folklore –– it's the way we filer the influence of the world.

The film's director, Jorge Gutierrez, chose the score based on the "playlist of his life," as he put it. He also claims the reason he was able to get so many artists' approval was solely because of Radiohead. "After we got 'Creep,'" he told Billboard, "every band said 'wow, you got Radiohead.' That made it easier." Other tracks appearing in the film is Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" and Rod Stewart's "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy."

The film will also be the debut voiceover role of rapper / actor / producer Ice Cube.
