Cold War Kids have announced the release of a new, as-yet-untitled album, Consequence of Sound reports. Their fifth LP, the effort is due out in October through Downtown/Sony Red. Giving us a taste of the upcoming release, the band has shared the lead track "All This Could Be Yours."

The pop-sensible track features Nathan Willett's vocal cries over sharp, booming guitar licks and striking piano chords.

"I have been waiting, but you would need a sign," he sings. "All of this could be yours, be yours tonight. I have been patient, but you've got to try. All of this could be yours, be yours tonight."

The new album follows up last year's Dear Miss Lonelyhearts. The band is currently working the festival circuit and will embark on a US tour this fall.
