First Maroon 5 had the "Moves Like Jagger" with Christina Aguilera, but now Adam Levine and co. are teaming up with another judge from his NBC competition show The Voice. In a new interview with Billboard, it was announced that the "Maps" band has teamed up with Gwen Stefani for a new song on the upcoming album V.

Following in The Voice tradition, Stefani has joined Maroon 5 for a Sia-penned song entitled "My Heart Is Open."

"It's cool for all of us to have her on the record. And Adam won't shut up about how cool she is as a person. A lot of times when you meet your idols it's a letdown, but it's the opposite case with Gwen, apparently," said Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine.

"My Heart Is Open" is not just another track from Maroon 5's V but also falls in line with the longheld The Voice tradition of judge collaborations.

As previously mentioned, Maroon 5 teamed up with Levine's fellow The Voice coach Christina Aguilera in 2011 for "Moves Like Jagger," and the hit eventually became the lead single for the album Hands All Over.

Other Voice coaches have also released duets together: Blake Shelton and Shakira released the country single "Medicine" earlier this year.

The Voice season seven has yet to kick off, but the coaches are coming together with their teams. Earlier this week, it was announced that Little Big Town have joined the program as mentors, alongside Gavin Rossdale (Team Gwen) and Stevie Nicks (Team Adam).

Meanwhile, Maroon 5's new album V will be released on Sept. 2.
