The 19th annual Arthur Ashe Kids Day, scheduled for Saturday, August 23rd at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York, will kick off at 9:30 a.m. with plenty of fun activities, tennis games and music performances from Hunter Hayes, MKTO, McCLAIN, The Vamps, and Madison Beer, as well as the Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day house DJ, Salerno.

The annual event is the largest 1-day, grassroots tennis and entertainment event in the world. It takes place on the Saturday before the US Open and features chart-topping performers, celebrities and some of the best tennis players in the game coming together to celebrate the life and values of tennis legend and humanitarian Arthur Ashe.

This year, Disney star China Anne McClain will share the co-hosting duties with Nickelodeon actor Jeff Sutphen. Health and fitness expert Shaun T., world renowned tennis players Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Rafael Nadal from Spain will all be on hand.

The family events, tennis events and concert with Island Records’ Shawn Mendes, Republic Records' Kalin and Myles and The Bomb Digz are all free. Tickets to the stadium show with Hunter Hayes run from $10 to $50 each. All proceeds benefit the USTA Foundation, which helps fund the National Junior Tennis & Learning Network (NJTL), a nationwide group of more than 600 nonprofit youth-development organizations that provide free or low-cost tennis, education and life-skills programming to more than 325,000 children each year. The NJTL ws founded 45 years ago by Arthur Ashe, along with Charlie Pasarell and Sheridan Snyder.
