DJ-rapper Diplo tries and struggles to recreate Taylor Swift's now-iconic goofy dance moves from the viral music video for "Delicate."

Since the track was released as part of the pop singer's acceptance speech at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards, the entire world has been busy talking about and dissecting the video, which was directed by Swift's frequent collaborator Joseph Kahn. It is about time that people try to recreate the hilarious music video.

Diplo Lets His Hair Down

In a video posted on Instagram, Diplo, wearing a long platinum blonde wig, dances under the rain and even attempts a split on top of the hood of a car while the song "Delicate" plays in the background.

"I'm delicate," he wrote in the caption.

The 39-year-old is not a strong dancer but he does succeed at being silly, which is basically the point of the music video. In "Delicate," Swift breaks her poised and proper public appearance and lets her goofy side run free when she discovered that she has turned invisible.

Diplo's video likely will not earn him a spot as one of Swift's dancers for her upcoming Reputation Stadium Tour.

However, this is not the first time that the record producer has showcased his little-known talent. In the minimalist and chill video for "Get It Right," his song with his close friend MØ, Diplo showed his fans that he, too, can move his feet.

Praise For 'Delicate'

The music video for "Delicate" was an instant hit to fans. Unlike the previous releases for "Look What You Made Me Do" and "End Game," the music video is a little less sci-fi.

One of the music video's fans is Swift Squad member Gigi Hadid who called Kahn's work "liberating."

Junko Cheng, the woman who appears and applies her lipstick in front of the invisible Swift in the music video talked about the experience to Billboard.

"Taylor introduced herself to me, and since I saw her dancing earlier, I told her I take hip-hop classes, which is really crazy for a middle-aged Asian mom," said the 57-year-old model.

"What I loved about her is that she's dancing with full abandon with not a care of what other people think. I'm that way too. Once you're in your 50s, there's a lot you don't care about and you care more about the time you have left here on Earth and what legacy you're going to leave behind."
