Recording artist Brad Paisley attends World Premiere Of Disney's 'Planes: Fire & Rescue' at the El Capitan Theatre on July 15, 2014 in Hollywood, California.
Two weeks after Megan Christopherson claimed she was thrown out of a Brad Paisley concert for breastfeeding her 4-month-old baby, the country singer has spoken about the incident and shared his thoughts.

During a radio interview with KFRG in San Bernardino, California, Paisley, Brad was asked about "the elephant in the room" (the incident). He shared that he wasn't on that side of the stage when it happened, so he didn't have a bird's eye view, but he had gotten information from police afterwards. "Basically, you should not have ... I don't know what she was doing, but according to police, it had nothing to do with breastfeeding at all. Nothing!" he said. "You should not have, and I would agree with this - there's no way I would take a 6-month old, or however old the baby is, into the pit at one of my concerts. It seems to me that she did the absolute wrong thing. And then, from what I saw in the video, they looked like they were kind. It didn't look like they were mean. They just said, 'get the baby out of here.' I just think that people are crazy. They do some crazy things. And they make some bad decisions. And that was in every way a bad decision. And I wish she would just learn from this, as opposed to pretending like being a victim."

He talked about the rare times that his own sons, 7-year-old Huck and 5-year-old Jasper, are at his shows. (They were at the show that night - and not in the pit!) He said, "When my kids have been at concerts, they look like Princess Leia. They have on these huge earphones, and they're back at the soundboard. Even back there, it's 100 decibels."

As a professional musician, Paisley is very well aware of how loud things are in the pit. The subwoofers, he explained, are under the stage and they carry the bass frequencies all the way out to the lawn. Referring to Christopherson's choice to take her infant into that area, he said, "And so you got a little baby who's hearing (those) frequencies. I mean, come on. It's awful."

The original video of the exchange between Christopherson and the police has been changed to private, but other copies are still floating around the internet.
