The NorthStar Group and The Source are looking to lead hip-hop in a different direction and they're doing so in a ground breaking new way.

The Source recently announced its first ever SOURCE360 Expo.

According to a press release, the SOURCE360 Expo will be a three-day expo, conference, concert and festival covering all channels related to art, music, fashion, film, sports, dance, tech, gaming and digital media.

The expo's main objective is to get attendees involved in today's innovation by providing access to top industry leaders, influencers, enthusiasts and brands.

SOURCE360 will also focus on global, civic and women's issues.

Each aspect of the expo will tie in to hip-hop and highlight the influence the genre has on so many things in the world around us.

The expo will host panel discussions, performances, art exhibits, film screenings and tech summits, amongst other things to keep attendees entertained.

Events are slated to take place at various venues in Brooklyn including the Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Barclays Center, Long Island University and throughout the Brooklyn Cultural District.

Industry and community leaders such as Run DMC, Wu-Tang Clan, Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs, Spike Lee, DJ Rashida, Danny Simmons, MC Lyte, Brandon Martinez and Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams are expected to participate and be in attendance.

"This is an exciting and unprecedented opportunity to showcase how innovative and diverse Hip Hop is locally and globally," said L. Londell McMillan, owner of The Source and founder of SOURCE360. "We are honored to bring this total market experience to the community and hope that it will inspire and embolden people to network, unite and create more positive contributions to the world."

The Source is also celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

SOURCE360 will take place from September 19 through 21.
