Break out those jewelry boxes and record players, Stevie Nicks has announced a lush new solo album. Today (July 24), the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman announced that she will be dropping a new LP this fall.

According to The LA Times, Nicks will be releasing 24 Karat Gold -- Songs from the Vault on Oct. 9.

The release date will coincide with the upcoming Fleetwood Mac reunion tour, which features the return of popular former band member Christine McVie. The expansive North American trek will begin on Sept. 30 in Minneapolis.

As for 24 Karat Gold, each song was written between 1969 and 1995 by Nicks, though they were previously unfinished or unreleased.

"Each song is a lifetime. Each song has a soul. Each song has a purpose. Each song is a story," Nicks said in a statement. "They represent my life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken hearted and the survivors. These songs are the memories -- the 24 karat gold rings in the blue box."

Nicks also co-produced the album with Dave Stewart.

Forgotten music won't be the only remnants on 24 Karat Gold. The album's packaging will also feature never-before-seen Polaraoid photos of and by Nicks and images from her "personal photo collection."

There will be a standard and deluxe version of the album, with the latter containing two bonus tracks and more photos.

24 Karat Gold -- Songs from the Vault will be Nicks' eighth solo effort and her first release since the 2011 album In Your Dreams. She's also reportedly been in the studio with Fleetwood Mac.
