Hyperdub, one of the most appreciated electronic labels from fans of the underground, is celebrating its tenth anniversary and will tour North America accordingly. The good news is that unlike other recent tours from acclaimed electronic performers (we're looking at you, Daniel Avery), this run will consist of more than just a few dates.
The label began as a web magazine in 2000 before branching into the release of music during 2004. Founder Steve Goodman (who performs under the alias Kode9) managed to attract a number of prominent performers to record on the label including Flying Lotus, renowned footwork producer DJ Rashad, and Mercury Prize nominee Burial.
