The offers and deals continue to pour in for Unlocking The Truth, the trio of Brooklyn youth who started a metal band and became a sensation. The newest project in the band's future will be a documentary released under Black Label Media and SeeThinkFilms.

"The eighth graders are honest and sincere and represent individuality and incredible talent for their age," said Molly Smith, a partner with Black Label Media. "The piece spoke to us, as it has a great message about being yourself and following your dreams, regardless of the hurdles one must overcome."

Seeing The Truth already has some experience working with the band. The company produced a short film on Unlocking The Truth already. Luke Meyer is set to direct the new film, which will serve as a biography of sorts, with emphasis on the struggles the band experienced as they tried to bring up a less than popular genre in New York's biggest borough.

Unlocking The Truth-comprised of guitarist Malcom Brickhouse, drummer Jarad Dawkins and bassist Alec Atkins, all ages 12 or 13-were already somewhat well-known, but the group's July signing with Sony Music outlet The Cherry Party brought them to national attention. After all, it's not often that middle schoolers get signed to $1.7 million record deals. The contract promises at least two albums from the band with the potential for up to four more. The band recently signed a book deal to tell its story as well.

Unlocking The Truth already has experience with the spotlight. Thus far its the youngest act to play the main stage at the Coachella Music Festival, its gotten gigs at the 2014 Warped Tour, plus big-name bands such as the Guns 'n' Roses and Queens of The Stone Age have invited the group to open for them.
