R&B singer Alicia Keys has announced that she is pregnant with her second child. The announcement came in a photo posted to Instagram featuring Keys posing with her husband, hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz, who are celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary today. The photo features the 33-year-old "Girl On Fire" singer sporting a baby bump while her 35-year-old husband sits beside her (though she should really be the one sitting down, being pregnant and all).
"Happy anniversary to the love of my life @therealswizzz!!" writes Keys in the photo's caption. "And to make it even sweeter we've been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here's to many many more years of the best parts of life!"
In an interview with Scholastic Parent & Child back in 2012, Keys reflected on the joys of motherhood, saying, "Being a parent has made me more open, more connected to myself, more happy, and more creative...It's just made me a better person all the way around."
Swizz Beatz (whose real name is Kasseem Dean) posted another photo from the same shoot to his own Instagram account, with the caption, "Love is life & life is love and we're so excited for another GIFT from up above Happy Anniversary my Goddess 4 years of greatness & cheers to 100 plus more inshallah."
The couple's first child, Egypt Daoud Dean, was born in October 2010 shortly after the two were married. Though this is Swizz Beatz's second child with Keys, it will be his fifth overall, as he has had three more children in previous relationships.
