Adele hasn't given any hints as to her next album, after "21" dominated sales throughout the last few years and won a boatload of awards. Word has gotten out however, that the songstress may soon be making her big-screen debut. The role? As a comic book villainous of course

Director Matthew Vaughn is hoping to cast Adele in his 2014 film "The Secret Service," a narrative that tells the tale of a U.K. crime prevention group, not the United States Secret Service. The film will include Michael Caine and Colin Firth in the lead roles, but it's the coterie of guest stars that catch the eye. Aside from Adele, Elton John and David Beckham will both appear, as well as Mark Hamill, Samuel L. Jackson and renowned director Ridley Scott.

The film is an adaptation by Scottish comic book artist Mark Millar, who's also responsible for the "Kick-Ass" comic book franchise, as well "Wanted," a 2008 film starring Angelina Jolie.

Elton John won't just play a piano player, nor will he play anything that vaguely resembles the Elton John we know and love. He'll take part in "massive" fight scene, which could be awesome.

"'The Secret Service' is going to be a big British movie so Matthew wants to include some iconic British stars," a source told The Sun about the film. "He wants to turn the films into a franchise, so getting big names on board will help boost its profile. Seeing Elton fighting will be movie gold. He's a great addition."
