If you thought that Justin Bieber was going to handle his high-profile scuffle with actor Orlando Bloom with any sort of class or dignity, you apparently know nothing about Justin Bieber, and I envy you. Last night, after the incident had already been widely reported, Bieber took to Instagram and posted a photo of Orlando Bloom apparently crying at a red carpet event. Naturally, Beliebers thought this move was brilliant, while pretty much everyone else found it childish.
In case you missed what happened between Bieber and Bloom, here's a recap: the two ran into each other at a bar in Ibiza, where Bloom allegedly threw a punch at Bieber after a tense confrontation. Though it would be fair to assume that Bieber decided to harass Bloom for no reason at all, their history actually goes back to 2012, when rumors arose saying that Bieber had an affair with Bloom's then-wife, model Miranda Kerr. Stirring the pot even more, Bloom had been spotted earlier this year hanging out with Bieber's girlfriend/ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
E! News reports that the photo of Bloom crying was taken at the Broadway premiere of Romeo & Juliet last year, where Bloom starred as Romeo. It's not clear why he was crying exactly, but he could have just been emotionally overwhelmed by the prospect of his Broadway debut.
The photo of Orlando Bloom tearing up isn't the first Instagram response that Bieber has made in reference to the Ibiza incident. Shortly after the incident occurred, Bieber tauntingly posted a photo of Miranda Kerr to his account, only to quickly remove it.
