Katy Perry will make you "Smile" with her new album [LISTEN TO THE TITLE TRACK]

Katy Perry unveils her new song, "Smile", which is the title track for her upcoming album, due for release on August 14. Katy considers the song as "three minutes of energizing hopefulness." The American Idol judge mentioned that she wrote the song during one of the darkest points of her life. "When I listen to the song now, it's a great reminder that I made it through," Katy shared.

Other Katy Perry songs will be part of the upcoming album

Aside from "Smile", other previously-released songs of Katy Perry will be part of her new album. This includes "Harleys in Hawaii"; "Daisies", in which she proudly showed her baby bump in the music video; and the certified Gold single, "Never Really Over."
