Rapper Jay Z is proving once again why he is one of the top rappers in the world. His new album Magna Carta Holy Grail (the rapper's 12th studio album) is set to be released today (July 4) for Samsung customers and July 9 commercially. The new album apparently also became an official platinum album at midnight on July 4. You can listen to a full stream and leak of Jay Z's new album below. Jay-Z is also making history with the Magna Carta Holy Grail album cover art being displayed at the Salisbury Cathedral in England along with the original surviving 1215 Magna Carta documents, according to USA Today.
Jay-Z's deal with Samsung, which gives their customers the first listen to his new album starting today, also makes MCHG a certified platinum album recognized by the Recording Industry Association of America. Starting at midnight on July 4 the album was available for free to one million Samsung users.
