Disney uploaded the official music video of Christina Aguilera's song "Loyal Brave True" to promote the upcoming live-action adaptation of Mulan.
The song is most likely about Mulan performing warrior duties to save her father and family's honor. The chorus goes, "should I ask myself in the water what a warrior would do? tell me underneath my armor, am I loyal, brave, and true?"

Aguilera is known to have won five Grammy Awards, a Latin Grammy Award, and earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She is considered one of the world's best-selling musicians.

Under her belt are five No.1 songs in the Billboard charts with "Genie in a Bottle," "What A Girl Wants," "Come on Over Baby (All I Want Is You)." Her other collaborative chart-toppers are Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" and "Lady Marmalade" with Lil'Kim, Mya, and P!nk.

Moreover, this wasn't the first time that Aguilera worked with Disney on Mulan.

In the 1998 animated movie depicting the Chinese heroine, the Grammy award songwriter sang "Reflection" during the end credits.

This is not to be confused with the version in the film performed by Filipina singer-actress Leah Salonga, the singing voice of Mulan. Additionally, the film voice actress for the Disney princess is Agents of SHIELD actress Ming-Na Wen.

The film was supposed to be released last March, but the launch date was moved due to the pandemic. Mulan will premiere on September 4 on Disney+.
