Actor-comedian Paul Rudd tells young people to wear a mask.

In a comedic public advisory, Rudd worked with New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to encourage the youth to wear facial protective gear. The Ant-Man actor pretended to be a millennial and made references that the demographic can relate to. Part of the joke is that he completely misuses them and makes it looks like he is just using random terms sometimes.

Some of the terms mentioned were "queens" and "stan," which he used in a sentence to hilarious effect. The actor also broke the fourth wall, being self-aware with "I'm not gonna preach at you like some celebrity."

Rudd also made references to activities popular to the youth culture such as the TikTok challenge, iPhones, and even called Billie Eilish (who also wants to get rid of COVID-19.) His fashion also reflects the generation, complete with cap, headphones, hoodie, and skateboard.

In the last parts of the video is a surprise appearance of the comedian with show host Sean Evans. The video clip of them together became a famous "Hey, Look at Us" meme. The hilarious video is uploaded on the Governor's YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook social media accounts.

Rudd is most likely best known for his portrayal of superhero Ant-Man, who can shrink or enlarge his size at will. The heist hero made many appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films such as Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Avengers: Endgame. He also had roles in many movies and TV series, mostly comedy. His humor revolves around sardonic sarcasm delivered in a deadpan manner while his most notable physical feature is his green eyes.

For all the craziness and the jokes, the video has a serious message to relay: wear a mask. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, some people are still adamant against wearing a mask in public and risk getting contaminated.
