Walt Disney Classics has a special place in everyone's heart. Not only because they are wonderfully animated but also for the Broadway vibe to them. As such, kids and kids at heart will most likely remember a song just as they can remember their favorite characters. Here are some of the songs from Walt Disney Classics that many most likely can sing by heart:

Beauty and the Beast - Beauty and the Beast

The Broadway ballad was written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. It was first recorded by Angela Lansbery, who played the character, Mrs. Potts. The character was singing the song from the perspective of someone looking at how Belle and The Beast were slowly falling for each other. The song was then recorded for the soundtrack release by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson. In the live-action adaptation of the Disney Classic, Emma Thompson sang the song as Mrs. Potts while Ariana Grande and John Legend did the duet during the end credits.

The Little Mermaid - Part of Your World

This Broadway-inspired song is another masterpiece from the duo composer Ashman and Menken. It was performed by Jodi Benson, who acted as the speaking and singing voice of The Little Mermaid. It is reported that Halle Bailey will play as the mermaid princess in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the Disney animated feature.

Pocahontas - Colors of the Wind

Menken worked with lyricist Stephen Schwartz for this Disney pop ballad. Performed by Judy Kuhn, singing voice of Pocahontas, the song is about the need to respect nature. Many critics say that this is one of the best songs from a Disney Classic.

Tarzan - You'll be in My Heart

This song was performed and composed by English singer-drummer Phil Collins, known for his iconic drum roll in his "In the Air Tonight" track. Collins was taken in because he was a drummer, but he later appealed to Disney to include a "strong jungle beat" to represent Tarzan's adventures.

Mulan - Reflection

Written by Matthew Wilder and David Zippel, the song was performed by Filipina singer Lea Salonga. It was also recorded by Christina Aguilera as her debut single and opened the way to a successful music career. For the recent live-action adaptation, Aguilera has an updated version while Mulan actress Liu Yifei also sung a Mandarin version of the Disney song.

Aladdin - A Whole New World

This pop song was produced by Alan Menken and Tim Rice. It was recorded by Brad Kane and Lea Salonga as Aladdin and Jasmine, respectively. The song serves not only as of the love song for the couple but also as the theme song for the film. For the live-action adaptation, Zayn Malik and Zhavia Ward did a recent rendition.

Frozen - Let It Go

It was performed by Idina Menzel, who also voiced Queen Elsa. The Disney song was recorded by Demi Lovato during the film's end credits. Besides "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas, it is another Disney song that reached the top ten music charts all over the world.
