House duo Lucas & Steve gets a musical upgrade on Deezer's music streaming platform, with their debut album "Letters to Remember" now available on 360 Reality Audio.

Deezer, in collaboration with Lucas & Steve's recording label Spinnin' Records, has introduced a groundbreaking 3D audio experience with the 360 Reality Audio. The latest audio technology, which saw more than 50 house and dance tracks remastered into an immersive music experience, was made possible through Sony's spatial audio system. In this 360-degree setup, each element of the single - vocals, bass, strings, synths, and more - can be situated in a spherical sound field, allowing producers to create a three-dimensional audio experience.

Known for their unique spin on future house genres, often with a kick of catchy pop hooks, Lucas & Steve is the latest act to get their music into the 360 treatment. In line with the Deezer - Spinnin' Records team-up, selected tracks from their debut album "Letters to Remember" are remastered into 360 Reality Audio format.

Letters to Remember

Lucas & Steve released their 16 track album last October 16 on all major music streaming platforms. In preparation, the duo has gathered inspiration for the album even before the start of the coronavirus pandemic. The Dutch duo attended writing camps from Los Angeles to Sweden, even on their tours from South America to Asia.

This diversity is reflected in the songs in the album - a refreshing mixture of maturity and versatility wrapped in Lucas & Steve's signature catchiness. The album also features a number of contributing artists - Laura White, Alida, Kiesza, Aron Blom, and more.

"We've been working towards this album over the years and have been waiting for the right time to release it. That moment has now come," the duo explained in a statement. They added that all their experiences are fused into the work, from writing to post-production.

Lucas & Steve added: "Each song has its own story and sound. We have matured ourselves, and our music has grown with it. You will hear that."

The duo, composed of artists Lucas de Wert and Steven Jansen, teamed up in 2010 and joined Spinnin' Records in 2014. They have also released songs under the Spinnin's sublabels Spinnin' Deep and Spinnin' Premium.
