Entertainment Weekly notes that it was also clear from the singer that her confident poise shows she had a great deal of experience under the spotlight.

"Have we met before?" was Simon's reaction after the singer revealed her real name and told the judges her age.

"We were so young, Simon. Let's not bring that up.", Large replied cheekily. When asked to tell more about herself, She said that she has been a musician for a long period of time already.

"I've been a musician for 30 years singing and this is an enormous, terrifying opportunity.", she said. The judges were amazed by how amazing she still looks despite being 51 years old.

Large admitted that despite her years of experience on the stage, being on AGT still felt like a completely different ballgame.

Large told the judges before she commenced her audition, "It's my first time coming and it's a huge honor to come cartwheeling through this massive arena. It's like food for the soul."

Large came from Portland, well she's a well-renowned musician in the city. She's been performing in a local band named "Pink Martini." Last 2012, she released to the public her first memoir.

Singer Delivers 'I've Got You Under My Skin', Gets a Standing Ovation on AGT

The singer then went on to perform a sensational and unique rendition of "I've Got You Under My Skin" by Frank Sinatra. As Oregon live comments, the rendition was so sultry and well-performed that it got the judges standing on their feet on standing ovation.

Her vocal commands were clear and her melodies were well sung. She also had strong emotions that expressed the meaning of the song so deeply. Her performance then earned her four unanimous YES votes that qualified her to move on to the next round.

We're not quite sure how Simon and Large had met, although many viewers have similar feelings of how that came into being. Obviously, AGT wasn't her first public appearance. She appeared on the large screen back in 2006 for the CBS reality series "Rock Star: Supernova."

In the contests, performers competed for the spot of becoming the lead vocalist of a new supergroup. The group featured former "Guns N Roses" guitarist Gilby Clarke, former "Metallica" bassist Jason Newsted, and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.

Large was a finalist of the reality show by singing music tracks that range from "Evanescence", to David Bowie and "Queen".
