After a brief hiatus, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are back at it with new music and they're working on a new album.

Following the release of their new track "Arrows" featuring Seattle indie group Fences, the duo recently took to Ustream to engage with fans and discuss their new music.

"We've been working very, very hard," Macklemore said. "Ryan's got some flames."

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are excited about the response they've been getting from fans. After their break, the Grammy-winners are glad to still have their fans' support.

The two have been hard at work.

"We are working everyday on this next record," Lewis said. "[We] want to make an album everybody's proud of."

The duo has certainly set the bar high for its next release. Their debut studio album, The Heist, won the Grammy for Best Rap Album this year.

The Heist spawned the hits "Can't Hold Us," "Same Love," and "Thrift Shop," which won Grammys for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.

The Heist's win for Best Rap Album over Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city caused uproar among fans.

During a recent interview with Complex, Lamar said he isn't too disappointed about his Grammy snub and Macklemore's response to beating him.

"It wasn't really a huge deal for me," he told them. "Macklemore deserves the accolades. That's still my partner regardless. He probably didn't need to Instagram the text. But what's done is done."

Whenever Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' next album is released, all eyes will be on them for a mentionable follow up. Check out their latest release below.
