Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias will be going on a co-headlining tour in September, and today they announced that it has been extended. The national tour will now be comprised of 24 shows instead of its previous 15.

This tour comes on the tails of much recent success for both artists. Iglesias' "Bailando" is currently No. 15 on the Hot 100 chart. As previously reported, Pitbull's recent single "Fireball" comes off his upcoming album, Globalization. The two last went on tour together in 2011.

J Balvin will be performing as the opening act for the entirety of the tour. He is an increasingly popular Columbian reggaeton singer, and his single "6 AM" is currently on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart at No. 5. It has been within the Top 10 range for 16 weeks and the official video has currently topped well over 57 million views. Iglesias was among the first to publicly note Balvin's involvement at the Latin Conference in Miami.

Pitbull and Iglesias originally revealed their tour schedule with help from their fans on social media. The two asked fans to tweet about their excitement for the tour using the hashtag #EnriquePitbullTour. Select fans were chosen to promote tour dates in their area with information given in a direct message from either Pitbull or Iglesias themselves. The hashtag for the campaign skyrocketed into both national and worldwide trending topics.

The last show was formerly to take place in Miami, the hometown of both Inglesias and Pitbull. The tour will now end in Orlando on October 28.
