Today, country singer Brad Paisley shared the lyric video for his song "Perfect Storm" from his upcoming album Moonshine in the Trunk. "The Perfect Storm" is the second song that Paisley has shared from Moonshine in the Trunk, following the album's lead single "River Bank," which was released back in April.

"Perfect Storm" is a mid-tempo country power ballad, complete with Paisley's signature twangy leads and a chorus that borrows as much from country as it does from Arcade Fire, or any "mainstream indie" band who tends to lean heavily into soaring "woah-oh-oh" group vocals. Naturally, the song opens with a verse comparing a woman to alcohol and cars, along with some other things:

"If she was a drink
She'd be single barrel bourbon on ice
Smooth with a kick
A chill and a burn all at the same time.
She's Sunday drive meets high-speed chase
She ain't just a song, she's the whole mix tape
She's so complicated, that's the way God made her
Sunshine mixed with a little hurricane"

Moonshine in the Trunk will be Brad Paisley's 11th album, and his first since 2013's Wheelhouse. The album is set for release on Aug. 25 through Arista Nashville, and can be pre-ordered right now on iTunes.
