Young Dolph's autopsy dropped more horrifying details about the death of the Memphis rapper.javascript:;

Months after Young Dolph was mercilessly shot in his hometown, the official autopsy report shared that the rapper suffered 22 gunshots that led to his death.

WHBQ-TV first confirmed the development, saying that the West Tennessee Regional Forensic Center's findings confirmed that the musician was shot in his left chest, left abdomen, right shoulder, right neck, right chin, arms, and back during the incident.

The medical examiner listed the wounds as entrance wounds, exit wounds, and others as undetermined gunshot wounds. It also noted that the manner of death was a homicide.

Young Dolph's aunt, Rita Myers, said that the details came out to shock them as they waited to see the report.

"It's difficult to process. This takes us through it all again. We're going through a whole lot right now, and this adds to it," she told Rolling Stone.

The autopsy report came out nearly four months since he was killed at Makeda's Butter Cookies on Airways.

His partner, Mia Jaye, has since expressed her heartbreak as they are not used to not having him in their lives.

More Details About Young Dolph's Case

In January, law enforcement officials released an official indictment against the two gunmen -- Justin Johnson, 23, and Cornelius Smith, 32 -- who were involved in the rapper's death. They both pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder charges in Shelby County Criminal Court last month after initially saying their guilty pleas. The next hearing will be held on March 24.

The first suspect was arrested in Southhaven, Mississippi due to an auto-theft case. It reportedly involved the white vehicle that they used as a getaway car when they murdered Young Dolph.

The second suspect, meanwhile, was arrested in Indiana on January 11.

Memphis NAACP and Shelby County Commissioner Van Turner said that gun violence must be addressed following Young Dolph's death.

"It's two kids who'll have to grow up without a father. Every homicide has a different story. It's not just Young Dolph, but the countless other families affected by violence in this community," Turner said.

NAACP also called for stricter gun laws to prevent crime-related purchases.

Meanwhile, the man who took care of the rapper's memorial was also shot and killed earlier this month. ABC 24 confirmed that the 32-year-old Jeremiah Taylor hit the pole after getting shot.
