This year's Grammy Awards is getting bigger as the Recording Academy announced that there would be additional performers aside from what they initially released. Which of your favorites are going to perform next week?

According to UPROXX, the famed awards show will feature some of the most talented artists in the industry like Chris Stapleton, Ben Platt, Nas, Leslie Odom Jr., Rachel Zegler, Foo Fighters, H.E.R., Cynthia Erivo, and Jon Batiste.

The outlet noted that some of the additional artists are expecting to win big during the ceremony, like Batiste, who snagged a total of 11 nominations, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best R&B Album, Best American Roots Performance, and many more.

On the other hand, rock legend Foo Fighters will be a headline act in the rock categories. Fronted by Dave Grohl, the band is nominated for Best Rock Performance for their song "Making A Fire," Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Album.

For the hip hop category, Nas' record, "King Disease II," is nominated for Best Rap Album along with DMX's "Bath Salts."

Grammys 2022 First Set of Performers

Aside from the artists mentioned above, the Recording Academy previously released their first line of performers for next week's awards show.

The list includes Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Brothers Osbourne, Lil Nas X, Brandi Carlile, BTS, and Jack Harlow.

The 2022 Grammy Awards will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3. The show will be broadcasted live via CBS.

Which Artists Are Fighting for the Top Categories?

Although there are numerous nominees every year, fans are more excited to know who will win top categories like Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.

For Record of the Year, there are ten official nominees, including one of the biggest comebacks, ABBA's "I Still Have Faith In You," Lil Nas X's debut album "Montero (Call Me By Your Name), Olivia Rodrigo's first song "drivers license," Tony Benett and Lady Gaga's "I Get A Kick Out Of You," and more.

Fighting for the Album of the Year spot includes Doja Cat's long-awaited "Planet Her," Billie Eilish's chart-dominating "Happier Than Ever," Olivia Rodrigo's debut album "Sour," Kanye West's controversial "Donda," and more.

And for the Best New Artist, nominees include Glass Animals, Japanese Breakfast, Jimmie Allen, Baby Keem, Billie Eilish's brother Finneas, Arooj Aftab, Arlo Parks, Saweetie, and The Kid Laroi.
