Another critically acclaimed electronic act will be making short work of the United States this year, so hopefully you live near a major market. The act in this case is Hamburg indietronica dance duo Digitalism, which includes Jens "Jence" Moelle and İsmail "Isi" Tüfekçi.
The group has only played two U.S. shows since the beginning of 2012, and both during that year. The group played Webster Hall in New York City and a show at Dim Mak Studios in Los Angeles. Digitalism received near universal acclaim for its 2007 debut album Idealism, while 2011's I Love You Dude was received more harshly. Still, the live act is reported to be worth considering.
The band dropped a new EP titled Wolves during July and a third full-length studio album is rumored to be in the works.
