Paramore was forced to take a break from touring, but thankfully just a short one, due to illness suffered by vocalist Hayley Williams. It seems that the two Texas dates missed as part of the Momentour with Fall Out Boy will be the only dates the vocalist needs to sit out.

"Writing from my bunk to let you know that my doctor and my vocal coach have told me I can't play tonight either," Williams wrote on the band's website Tuesday night, referencing that night's Corpus Christie show and the Monday date in Dallas she was forced to sit out.  "Doctor thinks I'll be good to go in the next day and certainly before the next show."

The ailments listed were a chest infection and "general exhaustion." Fall Out Boy, the headliner for the tour, lengthened its sets to make up for the missing band on the bill. The Momentour is scheduled to stop next in Albuquerque, NM on August 7.

Although it would be entertaining to see Patrick Stump front Paramore for a few shows, it would probably tear him up to sing sets for two bands in one night, and Williams is kind of the main draw for the band, so New Politics frontman David Boyd probably wouldn't be able to pull it off either.
