Aside from making hit tracks, Noel Gallagher is known for his controversial opinions, and it seems like Harry Styles isn't safe as the singer labeled him not a real musician.

According to Daily Mail UK, the "Oasis" hitmaker took a swipe at the "Watermelon Sugar" hitmaker by saying contestants from X Factor have "nothing to do with real music."

Styles auditioned for the popular reality singing competition in 2010, where he and his ex-bandmates- Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne- were formed.

Speaking to The Daily Star's WIRED column, Gallagher added that the TV show has nothing to do with music and "anything that has come from that, that's got nothing to do with music."

In addition to his controversial statement, he said Styles doesn't write his music as he's surrounded by women, adding, "you're not telling me Harry Styles is currently in a room somewhere writing a song. With any joy, he'll be surrounded by many girls."

This isn't the first time the singer called out the former One Direction member, as he previously criticized Styles' "Sign Of The Times" song, saying his cat could've written the track in ten minutes.

What Songs Did Harry Styles Previously Write?

Per the outlet, the 28-year-old singer wrote tracks on both of his solo records, 2017's self-titled album and "Fine Line" in 2017.

Harry Styles also had popular tracks he had written for other artists, like Ariana Grande's "Just a Little Bit of Your Heart", with Johan Carlsson featured on 2014's "My Everything."

He wrote "Someday" for Meghan Trainor, which she later sang with Michael Bublé.

Styles had also collaborated with Bleachers in the past as he co-wrote "Alfie's Song (Not So Typical Love Song), featured in the movie "Love, Simon."

As of today, the performer has 84 writing credits under his name and has written tracks for Gavin DeGraw, One Republic's Ryan Tedder, Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, Augustana, Kodaline, John Legend, One Direction, and many more.

Gallagher's latest criticism comes a few days after Styles released his highly-anticipated song titled "As It Was," and many fans are convinced that some of the song's lyrics were dedicated to his girlfriend, Olivia Wilde.

The couple has been dating each other for a year, and they managed to keep their relationship hidden from the public eye.
