Jack White recalled in a recent interview his first and only time meeting the legendary Prince, and his advice left a long-lasting mark on his career as a musician.

Speaking on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," the guitar enthusiast recalled the only time he met the iconic musician, saying they bumped into each other at an after-party.

Describing the singer, White said Prince "was incredibly nice," and they talked about guitars, where the latter offered a piece of advice.

"No one will ever tell you how to play your guitar," the singer recalled what the musician told him.

When the TV show asked him if he'd allow someone to tell him how he played the instrument, the singer hilariously replied, "No, but one of your sound guys told me to turn down earlier, so maybe..." (via Audacy)

Jack White is currently performing in different cities for his "Supply Chain Issues" world tour, and he began the first show by getting married on stage.

The first leg kicked off in his hometown of Detroit. He brought his girlfriend, Olivia Jean, on stage to perform "Hotel Yorba."

After performing, fans were shocked as White offered to tie the knot on the spot, prompting Third Man Records co-founder Ben Swank to join them on stage to officiate the ceremony.

Prince's Long-Shelved Album To Drop As Vinyl by Jack White's Record Label

Jack White's latest revelation about Prince comes a month after announcing that the late singer's long-shelved album will be re-released as vinyl.

The record producer spoke to Mojo Music Magazine, where he revealed that Third Man Records obtained the rights to release the singer's album.

Titled "Camille," the record features the late musician's voice mimicking female vocals as he's performing under his alter ego of the same name.

Initially, the album was scheduled to drop in 1986, and even though Prince recorded it, the record was supposed to be credited under the name of "Camille," not his.

Weeks before its release date, the record was canceled, and fans never got a chance to purchase a copy.

However, a few tracks made it to the "Sign o' the TImes" album, like "Rebirth of the Flesh."

On the other hand, "Feel U Up" and "Shockadelica" were included in the B-Side of "Party Man."
