BROCKHAMPTON had their swan song last night at Coachella Weekend 2, and it is the saddest day for their loyal fans.

The boyband known for their amazing visual and hip-hop, pop-rap songs took their last bow as a group after taking an indefinite hiatus from performing and producing new music.

Donning dazzled varsity jackets with the "All good things must come to an end" phrase at the back, the band gave out their most energetic performance of all time and an animatronic gorilla head onstage.

After ending the 13-set with "Boogie," the band lined up and took a huge bow to signify the start of their "indefinite hiatus."

If the gesture had not made the crowd cry, a slideshow of their photos throughout their entire run since 2010 surely sank every fan's heart.

Composed of Kevin Abstract, Jabari Manwa, Dom McLennon, Merlyn Wood, Matt Champion, Bearface, and Joba, the band has announced they will be taking an indefinite break from hiatus in January 2022.

Why is BROCKHAMPTON Breaking Up?

Last January 14, 2022, the Texas-born hip-hop group announced on Instagram that their O2 Academy Brixton in London and Coachella performances would be their last.

The group has also canceled their remaining tour dates as refunds for all tickets were refunded.

"Following these remaining shows, BROCKHAMPTON will take an indefinite hiatus as a group. They invite their fans to come celebrate the end of an era with them at these final performances," the band posted.

As to why the band has decided to take an indefinite hiatus, the public has still yet to know as they have not provided any definite reason why.

However, de facto leader Kevin Abstract dropped some hints in the past that they might be parting roads soon.

Earlier that year, they announced that they would be putting out their last two albums. However, they released only one, "Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine," instead of the promised two.

Fans have called "bluff" on the "last" album as they said that the group had already dubbed "Saturation III" their last but proceeded to make "Ginger" and "Iridiscence."

Founded in 2010, BROCKHAMPTON was born in San Marcos, Texas. The band is popularly known for its inclusive lineup of LGBTQ+ members and African-American members, brash verses, beats, and their blue face paint.
