Something in the Water 2022: Lineup, Venue, Tickets, Everything We Know So Far!

Something in the Water Music Festival is making a comeback this year, Pharell Williams confirms - and the lineup is as big as ever!

According to Udiscovermusic, Pharell Williams includes massive artists on the lineup, all for the three-day music fest.

The Pharell-organized music fest will take place from June 17 until 19, 2022.

According to their official website, Something In The Water 2022 will see recent GRAMMY-winning artist Jon Batiste, along with Lil Baby, and some people they "can't announce" yet.

 Aside from the two huge artists, Ashanti & Ja Rule, Baby Tate, BIA, Calvin Harris, Chloe x Halle, Denzel Curry, Dominic Fike, Gracie Abrams, Jeremy Zucker, JID, Lil Uzi Vert, and others will be performing at the festival.

Moneybagg Yoo, Pusha T, Omar Apollo, Roddy Ricch, Sound of the City, Teyana Taylor, and Tyler the Creator will also grace the stage. However, no day-by-day lineup has been officially announced yet.

Something in the Water 2022 Venue

Redrock Entertainment and Live Nation will produce the much-anticipated return of the festival o Independence Ave in Washington, DC.

Since its inception in 2019, the festival has taken a 2-year hiatus because of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic.

Initially, it was supposed to take place in his hometown in Virginia Beach, Virginia. However, a public rift with local leaders prompted Williams to relocate to the nation's capital. (via DCist)

Pharell has publicly recognized this rift as a Virginian police with no body camera fatally shot his cousin. The government, however, focused more on the loss of the festival rather than putting pressure on William's cousin.

2019 Something in the Water festival provided million-dollar revenue to the City of Virginia Beach in 2019 when it was first held there, as William's purpose for the festival was to ease racial tensions and provide economic opportunities for the local community.

Something in the Water 2022 Tickets Sale

Passes for the massive festival will go on sale to the general public starting Saturday, Apr. 30, 2022, local time.

However, festivalgoers who have previously purchased passes are entitled to an exclusive presale for the 2022 festival on Wednesday, Apr. 28, at 10:00 a.m. ET until Thursday, Apr. 28, at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Pharell has not forgotten about Virginia residents, as they will also have special access to a "Virginia Locals Only" presale on Friday, Apr. 29, at 10:00 a.m. ET.
