The MET Gala 2022 has finally arrived, and the stars gracing the red carpet have nothing but stunning - while some are quite disappointing.
Returning to New York Metropolitan Theatre, this year's theme is "In America: An Anthology of Fashion."
The star-studded bash took place on the first Monday of May 2022, which follows a "gilded glamour" dress code.
With the copious amount of artists in the highly-anticipated gala, we have narrowed down five of the best-dressed singers spotted at this year's MET Gala.
Lizzo
Slaying the red carpet like a renaissance painting, Lizzo stunned with a trailing gold-embroidered coat, a body-hugging black gown, and a heap of a gold choker. This was the first time that Lizzo attended the event, and she finished up her ensemble with her signature flute. Shawn Mendes Twitter fans have been raving about Shawn Mendes' outfit at this year's MET Gala as it draws similarities to Marvel's Doctor Strange, which coincidentally premiered yesterday in Los Angeles. Although he stayed true to his yearly suits, Shawn's Tommy Hilfiger piece is notable from afar with his navy blue coat and flared burgundy collar. Billie Eilish Donning a Gucci gown with a splash of green, champagne, teal, and periwinkle, Billie climbed the famous MET stairs with fans saying she was the best dressed among the crowd to stay true to the theme. The 20-year-old hitmaker revealed to Vogue that the curve-hugging dress she wore was made entirely of "existing materials" to be more eco-friendly. Nicki Minaj The Queen of Rap arrived and did nothing but serve looks. Teaming up with Italian fashion designer Ricardo Tisci, Nicki donned an all-black Burberry ensemble with a leather baseball cap/headband combo. Chloe's bedazzled gold dress is screaming glamour in all sorts of places. The 23-year-old songstress brought Area's abstract glittering gold dress along with a thigh-high slit. Although fans debate if the look channeled "gilded glamour," her neck gold wings complemented her outfit and made her a complete stand out on the red carpet.
