Ozzy Osbourne faced near-death experiences before he started suffering from worrying health issues.

Osbourne's fans have been constantly worried due to the rocker's health issues in the past years. But the Prince of Darkness also experienced events that nearly took his life.

As he continues to recover from his recent COVID-19 bout, his near-death events emerged and reminded everyone that the singer could surely survive any threat in his life.

Ozzy Osbourne Almost Died Due to These Experiences

First on the list is his Quad Bike incident. In 2003, the singer suffered from life-threatening injuries when he got involved in an accident that left him with a broken neck vertebra.

He also told The Sun years ago that he was lucky to be alive after the crash.

"I had a great run until I turned 70 in December, then all hell broke loose," he said. "I've got about 15 screws in my spine now."

He and David Lee Roth got engaged in an insane cocaine duel in 1978 as they tried to snort the most coke without dying. Roth lost to the Prince of Darkness, but Osbourne went missing amid his win. Police even presumed him dead until he showed up again in the lobby of a hotel room.

It was not the only substance-related near-death experience he went through. He also went through a nervous breakdown and was even admitted to a mental hospital amid his Diary of a Madman tour.

Lastly, Osbourne faced a deadly manicure to keep his rocker appearance. Unfortunately, the cut on his finger got infected and led to his thumb swelling to the size of a light bulb.

Fortunately, the singer survived these instances. But he has still been challenged by the health issues that occurred in between his near-death experiences.

Ozzy Osbourne's Health Through the Years

Before his COVID-19 diagnosis, Osbourne also worried fans when he dislocated the metal rods that were installed after the Quad Boke incident.

The Black Sabbath genius also faced multiple health issues, including pneumonia, flu complications, and a hand infection that caused him to undergo another surgery.

On top of these, his health took a wild turn again when he was diagnosed with mild Parkinson's disease years after revealing that he had Parkinsonian syndrome -- different case compared to Parkinson's Disease but also causes the same symptoms and tremors.
