Even though Kanye West's "Donda" and Drake's "Certified Lover Boy" were two of the most successful albums released over the past few months based on their track record and chart history, it seems like not everyone is pleased, and Denzel Curry is one of them.

In a recent set of tweets, the rapper blatantly bashed two albums, writing, "Donda and CLD could've been better, y'all n***** rich and got the greatest musicians at your disposal."

He adds, "The artwork for both projects were booty."

As of this writing, his first tweet amassed a whopping 82,700 like on the platform.

After the posts went viral, many of his followers agreed about his statement, but not everyone on the Twitterverse were pleased about him bashing "Donda" and "CLB."

One user called him out, saying he's trash and the most mid artist to come out of XXL 2016, before adding, "The hardest s*** you rapped was in your verse for the cypher and everything after that has been a flop. You have the most forgettable album of 2022. Stop coming after greats u bum." (via Hip Hop DX)

Curry did not hold back and replied, asking if the fan was mad or not.

In the end, the rapper decided to step back from the drama because many people were starting to get "mad."

As of this writing, neither Drake nor Kanye West has responded to the recent comments.

Even though he didn't like "Donda," West is still prevalent in Curry's music as he cited "Graduation" as a significant influence on his album "Melt my Eyez See Your Future."

In an interview with Pitchfork, the rapper said he wanted to create something that was going to sound big and his tracks to sound like they belonged in stadium shows.

He credited songs from West's 2007, saying his favorite tracks were "Sanjuro," "X-Wing," "Ain't No Way," and "The Last."

"If you listen to that album, it has a variety of beats, too. I just wanted something that sounded as colorful," he said of West's record.

On the other hand, his connection with Drake has also been public for years as the rapper shared his music on social media before.

Speaking to Forbes Magazine, Curry claims the "Take Care" rapper told him he likes his music.
