After strutting the red carpet last Sunday with her sultry black gown, Doja Cat's night was a huge one after sealing four awards at the Billboard Music Awards 2022.

However, her well-deserved win doesn't sit well with someone, particularly Summer Walker's boyfriend.

Summer Walker BF, Doja Cat Beef: What's Happening?

A day after the Billboard Music Awards 2022 returned to MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, an angry boyfriend kept Instagram and Billboard abuzz after he questions how Doja Cat managed to win.

LVRD Pharoah, Summer Walker's boyfriend, shared to his 80.6k followers his thoughts on Doja Cat's recent win at the Billboard Music Awards 2022.

@billboard explain to me how a pop artist @dojacat wins two R&B categories??? And she has one R&B song ever??" he wrote. "@billboard numbers don't lie, how didn't she win? As I recall, Still Over It topped @beyonce Lemonade TWICE. How did @summerwalker not win any R&B woman categories? I'll wait," he wrote.

Doja was the most nominated female artist of the night for grabbing 14 nods. She managed to take home Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Female Artist, and Top R&B Album for "Planet Her" - beating Summer Walker in all categories. Doja also won Top Viral Song for "Kiss Me More," sharing the win with SZA.

On the other hand, Summer Walker, who is only nominated for the three R&B categories failed to take home an award.

Summer Walker 'Still Over It' Robbed Despite Massive Success?

Walker released her latest effort, "Still Over It," last November 2021, and the debut was a massive one.

Apple Music reported that "Still Over It" broke the record for a female artist with the most album streams in a single day. She also bested her own personal record for the largest streaming debut week for a female R&B artist.

"Still Over It," the sequel to her "Over It," debuted atop the Billboard 200 charts on its release - marking Walker's first number one album. The album is the highest-charting album from a female R&B artist since Beyonce's 2016 smash album, "Lemonade."

On the other hand, "Planet Her" was also a successful album. As of this writing, the album ranks No. 11 on the Billboard 200 charts, while Walker's is at No. 80.

Since the Billboard Music Awards 2022, Summer Walker was visibly disappointed with the outcome and jokingly teases his boyfriend to break up with her in order for her to write new music.

The Billboard Music Awards finalists are based on album and digital song sales, streaming, radio airplay, touring, and social engagement.
