My Chemical Romance is currently traveling across the globe for their 2022 tour, and they made a big move for Power Trip's Riley Gale almost two years after his death.

According to ALT 98.7, the rock band performed in Milton Keynes, England, over the weekend.

During their highly-anticipated reunion shows in the United Kingdom, frontman Gerard Way has been wearing a hat, and he mentioned how a friend of his told him that it reminded them of the late singer.

Way said he's so inspired by the Power Trip Singer and revealed that the band was supposed to be their show's opening act.

"They were gonna be one of the bands that were gonna open for us or I was gonna ask at least. They could have said, 'F*** no', which I would have been totally respectful of, but I have a feeling they might have said yes," the singer said.

The musician concluded his tribute by saying, "rest in peace Riley m***********!"

Riley Gale died in August 2020 at the age of 34.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner's office confirmed the musician's cause of death to Rolling Stone, saying he died from the toxic effects of fentanyl.

During My Chemical Romance's first show in Milton Keynes, the frontman also took the opportunity to pay tribute to his fans who died before the reunion tour happened.

While messing around on their tour, Way said he was having a good time until a realization occurred to him after the second show.

Way said some fans weren't able to make it to their reunion tour, and a friend of his told him that there's a list of people on the internet that was supposed to watch their shows.

The singer then lifted a white flag that reads "Your Memory Will Carry On," along with the names of his fans who died.

My Chemical Romance is currently traveling in different cities across Europe and the United Kingdom for their twice-canceled reunion tour.

The show kicked off at the Eden Project in St. Austell last May 16.

Later this year, the rock band will also have a North American leg, which will visit cities like Dallas, Denver, Sunrise, Houston, Portland, Las Vegas, Inglewood, and many more.

They will also have shows in New Zealand and Australia in 2023.
