My Chemical Romance is currently on their reunion tour, and even though they rarely release new music in recent years, they still find a way to excite fans as the band performed a 2012 song for the first time in their career.

According to Loudwire, the emo group played at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin, Ireland, and they surprised concertgoers by pulling something from the memory lane.

They played their 2012 single "Tomorrow's Money" for the first time since its release. The track was performed in the first set as it came after their opener "The Foundations of Decay" and "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)."

Not all fans are familiar with the song, as it was originally released as a single a decade ago. It was later included in the "Conventional Weapons" compilation in 2013.

The outlet noted that the band dropped ten unreleased songs recorded in 2009 between October 2012 and February 2013.

Another classic track titled "Boy Division" was also played on their Dublin set.

The recent performance comes a few days after the band issued a surprise drop for the song "The Foundations of Decay."

The six-minute song is a blend of emo rock and hardcore sound.

My Chemical Romance is currently on their Europe and United Kingdom tour, which kicked off at the Eden Project in St. Austell last week.

Their highly-anticipated reunion tour was supposed to begin in fall 2019. They were able to perform one show in December that year but got halted because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was rescheduled last year but got canceled again due to concerns regarding the virus.

The band will perform in cities like Rotterdam, Bologna, Budapest, Milton Keynes, Cardiff, Paris, Prague, Budapest, Warsaw, Bologna, Glasgow, and many more.

They will also travel to different parts of the world, like North America, which will begin at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City before touring cities including Denver, Dallas, Houston, Sunrise, Las Vegas, Newark, Oakland, and Portland.

Shows in New Zealand and Australia will begin in early 2023.

As of this writing, the band, consisting of Gerard Way, Mikey Way, and Frank Iero, has not confirmed whether they'll release a new record or not.

However, the frontman revealed last year that he's working on new music, but he never clarified if it's for a solo project or the band.
