Taylor Swift has been gracing fans with music over the past years, and it seems like she's ready to move forward and switch careers after the success of her self-directed short film "All Too Well."
According to Pop Culture, the "Shake It Off" hitmaker wanted to write and direct a feature film soon.
Speaking at the Beacon Theater in New York City for the screening of her short film at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, Swift said she was always "very curious" and always wanted to learn something.
In the early years of her career in the music industry, the singer said she started going into the editing of her music videos and made changes.
"It started with meddling, and it went from meddling with the edit to then writing the treatments for the music videos. That was almost ten years ago," she added.
The singer proved her creativity as she came up with ideas for music videos and collaborated with seasoned filmmakers to direct them.
In 2019, Swift directed her own music video for the first time for the song "The Man." She won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Direction.

Since then, the "Out of the Woods" songstress has taken charge of the visuals of her song. She also collaborates with other artists from time to time, like Blake Lively for "I Bet You Think About Me.
Swift almost did not direct her VMA-winning music video as she initially wanted to hire a female filmmaker. However, no one was available at the time.
"Once I started directing music videos, I didn't not want to do it," she said.
Going back to the topic of wanting to venture out into the world of filmmaking, Swift told "C'Mon C'mon" filmmaker Mike Mills that it would be "fantastic" to direct a movie.
"I don't see it being bigger in terms of scale, I loved making a film that was so intimate with a crew that was relatively small, just a really solid group of people that I trusted," she said.
Regarding her music career, Swift's last release was "This Love (Taylor's Version)."
As of this writing, the singer remains mum about the release date of her highly-anticipated "1989 (Taylor's Version)."
It's unsure whether she'll release it as a surprise like her previous albums "Folklore" and "Evermore."
