Iina Menzel would be thrilled to participate in the third Frozen film - voicing Elsa, singing another hit like "Let It Go?"

After working on the first and second "Frozen" films, the 51-year-old Broadway actress told the Today show's Jill Martin in an interview that will appear on Thursday that she is willing to reprise her role as the snow princess Elsa.

When asked if "Frozen 3" has a future, Menzel responded she certainly hoped so. For her, there's something magical about doing a young girl's character, despite her own age.

"'I hope so...I hope it is but I don't know...any time I can be 80 and play a blonde animated girl whose like 15, whose got amazing arms, by the way, I love that about her," she said.

The first "Frozen" was released in 2013 and the second will be released in 2019. Both were blockbuster hits, with the first picture grossing approximately $1 billion worldwide.

The co-stars of Idina in Frozen are Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad. Groff has already stated that a Frozen 3 could occur.

In April, he stated on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, "I feel like, even though those projects seem very different, Frozen and Mindhunter, I feel like a third Frozen and a third season of Mindhunter are equally possible."

Earlier this month, Menzel discussed an additional franchise. Menzel expressed regret that she is too old to star in the film adaptation of "Wicked."

Thetar originated the part of Elphaba in the 2003 Broadway musical with Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda, and while she is "very thrilled" that Cynthia Erivo, 35, will be stepping into her footsteps in the next film adaption, she admits that she "misses" playing the misunderstood green girl.

She said, "The answer is, yes, I'm very excited and I know it's in great hands and I've sent so much love to Cynthia and Ariana and I'm there for them if they need me. And yes, I'm a little sad that I'm just older and can't play the role, you know? And that's the honest truth."

'It's the aging and the proprietorship of the role and what it means to me and how it changed my life. I just love it, and I miss her, I guess, is what I'm trying to say."

The actress continued by joking that fellow performer Julie Andrews was in a similar situation in the 1950s, when she originated the role of Eliza Doolittle in "My Fair Lady" but was passed over for the film adaptation in favor of Audrey Hepburn, before achieving success with "Mary Poppins and "The Sound of Music."
