Noel Gallagher has been in hot waters recently after recalling his Glastonbury Music Festival experience last month and ended up insulting people with disabilities. As he remained silent even though the backlash is loud, his brother has now stepped up to apologize on his behalf.

"I'd like to apologise on behalf of my family about the little fella's recent remarks about people with disabilities," Liam Gallagher wrote beneath his latest social media post. "SORRY we're not all c***s LG x," he added.

According to Pop Culture, the Oasis frontman was a guest in an episode of "The Matt Morgan Podcast," where he cracked a joke about disabled people.

It all began when he claimed to have watched a performance from the disabled platform when he attended a recent music festival with his friends.

He and Rita Ora attempted to go up the platform reserved for disabled concertgoers to see Jamie T perform live.

However, they were stopped by security personnel in the venue. In order to get to the area, he showed his "Access All Areas" pass as he had just finished his set with Oasis.

"I said: 'See that pass mate? It gets me any f****** anywhere," he recalled telling the security guard. He wasn't able to go up because he and his friends were drunk, and he didn't see it was an area reserved for disabled people.

He joked about how he would have pushed someone out of a wheelchair for his son to get on to the platform.

In addition, he would pretend to tap concertgoers on their foreheads, telling them they could walk.

The songwriter concluded his statement by saying, "those disabled cats have a great view of everything."

Following this, Gallagher amassed a ton of criticisms from disability advocates and users online.

"Matt Morgan & Noel laughing at the idea of drunkenly mocking/assaulting wheelchair users is beyond cheap, even by 90s standards. And yes I can laugh at life," one wrote.

"When someone 'jokes' about tipping wheelchair users out, we cannot be expected to feel safe around him. So ⁦@glastonbury⁩ - will you be inviting him back to perform, or will you be putting your disabled fans first?" another one wrote.

As of this writing, Noel has not publicly apologized or commented on the matter.
