Throughout the music industry, many singers have been drawing inspiration from their separations and previous relationships to release new music. Alanis Morissette is not an exception as her album "Jagged Little Pill" is considered to be one of the best breakup albums of all time.

Since its release in 1995, many fans have been guessing which celebrity ex-boyfriend inspired the singer to write the album.

Many of them alleged that the song "You Oughta Know" was about her relationship with Dave Coulier, an actor popularly known for his roles in "Full House" and "The Real Ghostbusters."

Speaking to SiriusXM, the comedian revealed how he realized that he was the inspiration behind the album.

The actor first heard the song in his car while driving. At first, he thought "it was pretty good" until he realized the voice singing it.

Upon finding out that it was Morissette singing, he started to worry. Coulier immediately bought the album and said, "Ooh, oh no! Oh, I can't be this guy!" (via Comicbook)

"There was a lot of familiar stuff in there that her and I had talked about," the actor revealed.

Coulier added that there is a line from the song "Right Through You" that when he listened to, he realized that he may have really hurt his ex.

Per the outlet, the ex-couple began dating in 1992. Morissette was 18 while the actor was 33. Their relationship didn't last as they broke up two years later.

A year after separating, the album was released and it became one of the most iconic albums of all time. It amassed massive success after selling more than 10 million copies.

To mark its 10th anniversary, the album was re-recorded with acoustic versions of the songs. It also inspired a musical on Broadway.

Despite the speculation and Coulier's revelations, Alanis Morissette has not revealed who inspired her to write the album.

Today, the singer is traveling around the world for the 25th anniversary of "Jagged Little Pill."

Morissette will be accompanied by the American rock band Garage to open her shows.

According to her official website, her next show will be at the Festival D'été de Québec in Quebec City, Canada, on July 15.

She will then visit different cities like Toronto, Bethel, Holmdel, Milwaukee, and many more.
