It seems like Tom DeLonge is making a comeback on Blink-182 after all.

Rumors of his return to the rock band were made apparent after a recent Instagram bio update suggests it.

DeLonge could be filling in Matt Skiba, who replaced him in the first place after the latter expressed uncertainty in his membership in the iconic band.

Tom DeLonge Blink-182 Comeback Finally Happening?

It was Kerrang! who initially saw the update on Tom DeLonge's Instagram account.

Over to his bio, it was explicitly written now that he is involved with Blink-182, his former band, and Angels & Airwaves, his current one.

"I make music (@blink182 and @angelsandairwaves) and films (@tothestars.media), and at TTS I work alongside a few spies and a very important physicist," DeLonge's Instagram biography reads.

As of this writing, the former Blink-182 founding member has not yet responded to the rumors of his return. Loudwire pointed out that the recent update might be just to indicate his history with the band.

However, what seemed to strike fans is that Tom DeLonge's Instagram update came weeks after his former replacement, Matt Skiba publicly wanders his membership and involvement with the band.

Matt Skiba Not A Blink-182 Member Anymore?

Matt Skiba's response to a fan on Instagram has also generated a buzz on the rock music scene.

The fan asked if Matt is still on the band as the band has not posted any photos of them with the guitarist.

Just like the fan who seemingly notice his absence, Matt Skiba is confused.

"your guess is as good as mine. Regardless, I am very proud of and thankful for my time w @blink182. We shall see..." the 46-year-old musician said.

With DeLonge's recent update and Skiba's uncertainty, it could be likely that the former is returning with the latter's exit.

However, nothing is confirmed as of this writing. Skiba nor DeLonge has publicly addressed the rumors of their reunion or exit on Blink-182, and neither does Travis Barker, the band leader.

In 2016, Tom DeLonge was officially estranged on Blink-182 after the band officially had Matt Skiba take on his shoes.

After his exit, he goes to form his own band, Angels & Airwaves.

Meanwhile, Skiba was grateful for the fans' support after taking on DeLonge's spot in the band.
