Many fans thought Iggy Azalea won't be returning to music after releasing "The End of an Era" last year, however, it appears that the rapper will come back soon as she revealed in a post online.

Taking to her official Twitter account, the Australian native said she was willing to walk away from music in 2021 because she was tired of attracting negative energy.

However, she realized that even though she was minding her own business, people are still finding ways to be "negative and nosey."

Iggy Azalea's 'End of an Era' Her Final Album?

The recent confirmation comes a year after Azalea told her fans that her previous album would be her last so she could take a few years off to focus on "other creative projects and things" that she's passionate about outside music.

"Shifting my energy and focus to what I'm most excited about is what is right for me and I hope you'll continue to support whatever creative projects I'm out here doing," she added.

The "Bounce" hitmaker also noted that she really loved the album and she wanted her supporters to enjoy it with her.

Iggy Azalea Explains Why Her 2021 Album Would Be Her Last

In a previous interview on the Zach Shang show, the rapper explained that the 2021 album was her final record that she had to release as a part of her contract with her label Bad Dreams Records,

She revealed that her deal includes two albums and she doesn't have anybody that she needs to make her happy.

Azalea later clarified that she could possibly get another deal in the next three or four years, but insisted that "End of an Era" would be her final studio album.

In addition, the rapper noted that her decision to stop making music was because of the public's assumptions of her lyricism which made them think it was about her real-life relationships.

In other updates, Iggy Azalea is part of Pitbull's current "Can't Stop Us" summer tour that will kicked off in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Their next show would be at Mansfield, Massachusetts, on August 9. Aside from the rapper, Sean Paul and Globalization DJs will also perform on other dates.
