After suffering a strong case of Pancreatitis last June, Travis Barker is defying his doctor's medical orders to go back on tour with Machine Gun Kelly.

Barker suffered a major health scare months ago after a routine procedure damaged a critical part of his pancreas, leading to a shocking trip to the emergency room.

Travis and Machine Gun Kelly were frequent collaborators and good friends, the former has co-produced three of Kelly's most recent albums to date.

Turns out, Travis Barker's health scare was a case of severe life-threatening pancreatitis wherein a part of his pancreas was injured during the colonoscopy that took place days before.

Eventually, Travis recovered from the ailment and was released a week after. He was also spotted in his recording studio early in July.

Sources at the time reported that Travis is "slowly on the mend" and has been closely following the orders of his medical team.

His ex-wife Shanna Moakler expressed his support and prayed for his "speedy recovery" at the time upon knowing the shocking news.
