Demi Lovato is due to release her highly-anticipated album this week, "Holy Fvck," which she revealed to have been inspired by Kelly Clarkson and Ashlee Simpson.

But aside from the two music personalities, she took inspiration from, the Disney alum turned popstar revealed that she was heavily influenced by Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams.

With "Holy Fvck" ushering Demi Lovato's pop-punk and pop-rock era, it would seem very fitting that Hayley Williams is one of her inspirations.

Demi Lovato Reveals 'Holy Fvck' Inspirations

Speaking to Apple Music's Zane Lowe recently, Demi Lovato revealed that her album, "Holy Fvck's" sound is hugely influenced by 2000 music icons like Kelly Clarkson and Ashlee Simpson.

Apparently, Clarkson's classic hit "Since U Been Gone" has huge importance for Demi. According to her, the song is "one influence that really changed where I wanted to go directionally," even describing the song as a "monster record."

"And I saw the transformation of [Kelly Clarkson] as an artist go from R&B soul pop to pop rock. And I was like, wait, that's what I want to do," Lovato told Lowe.

However, the Kelly Clarkson inspiration was already made public before already. But it was Paramore's Hayley Williams in which Demi gushed even more.

Demi Lovato Gushed Hopes for a Hayley Williams Collaboration

Demi disclosed that she has known and met Williams before when since she was 15, but she did not get a chance to know her better. (via NME)

"I had a lot of people pulling for me that I didn't necessarily talk to. She seems like the type of person that would be pulling for me during those times. But yeah, I didn't get to know her that well but...she's one of my biggest influences," she confessed.

Per Lovato, Hayley Williams is still her dream collaboration that has never happened. She even admitted that she gave up already on that dream, but still remains hopeful otherwise for years.

Demi Lovato's "Holy Fvck" is hitting the headlines tomorrow, August 19.

Based on the "Heart Attack" singer's description of how she would want the album to transcend, she wanted the sound to be "emotive" and feel the song through the sound and the lyrics.

She has already shared three songs from the album, "29," "Substance," and "Skin of My Teeth."
