He was immediately taken to the hospital and doctors noticed a "very small polyp" in a sensitive area.

"This resulted in severe life-threatening pancreatitis. I am so very very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better," he added.

Barker said he's grateful for the intensive treatment and he's now feeling better.

A week after being hospitalized, he immediately went back to work as he was spotted visiting his music studio in early July.

Other Travis Barker, Blink-182 Updates

Barker's recent health woe comes a few days after Mark Hoppus rekindled his friendship with Tom DeLonge, leading fans to speculate if Blink-182 will be reunited as a band.

He told People Magazine that his cancer journey helped the music group get together in the same room in five years. They all felt better because they had no agenda and no "lingering grudges."

"It felt very back to what it should be: three friends sitting in a room," Hoppus added.

Today, the vocalist/bassist has since recovered from his stage 4 cancer and is believed to be spending time in the studio to work on the next Blink-182 song.

He hinted at the band's possible return by saying he keeps on writing music and he's open to whatever their future is.
