Rapper Fetty Wap will be facing prison time for quite a long time after pleading guilty to a massive drug charge that involves shipment from one state to another.

The sentence for his crimes, however, is quite unsure yet, considering the difference between the actual guidelines that the law has set and the reported time frame.

He is not the first rapper to bow down to the guilty plea; Fetty Wap's co-defendants Robert Leonardi and Anthony Cyntje also did to both drug and firearms charges.

Fetty Wap Jailed for Intercoastal Massive Drug Charges

According to Billboard Pro, rapper Fetty Wap might not be seeing the outside world soon enough after he pleaded guilty to taking part in "a multimillion-dollar bicoastal drug distribution organization."

Wap was arrested in October along with Cyntje and Leonardi for drug charges, including conspiracy to distribute and possess fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin. The prosecution alleged that the trio had shipped over 100 kilograms of the three drugs all the way from Califonia to Long Island, New York, where they would distribute it.

"The fact that we arrested a chart-topping rap artist and a corrections officer as part of the conspiracy illustrates just how vile the drug trade has become," FBI New York Top Official Michael J. Driscoll said at the time.

Formally known as Willie Maxwell, Fetty Wap, Anthony Cyntke, and Robert Leonardi were all arrested last October after the former performed at the Rolling Loud New York festival.

Apparently, the drug was revealed to have been shipped using the U.S. Postal Service. With cars with secret compartments, the trio was able to transport 220 pounds of the drugs and distribute it on the east coast, specifically on Long Island, unnoticed.
