Ozzy Osbourne is making a big return to the stage as he is kicking off the new NFL season with a comeback performance.

The SoFi stadium in Los Angeles will be heavily packed with the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills fans and those who are itching to watch the rockstar after years of hiatus.

Following a streak of consecutive health scares and recovery period, the Osbourne family is moving back to the United Kingdom and leaving the United States for good.

Ozzy Osbourne NFL Halftime Performance

According to Rolling Stone, the Black Sabbath vocalist is staging a comeback on a stadium performance for the halftime performance at the Rams vs Bills game on September 8.

Taking place at the 70,000-capacity SoFi Stadium, Ozzy Osbourne's NFL performance will kick off the 2022 NFL Season.

NBC and Peacock will be presenting both the show and the Ozzy Osbourne NFL performance.

The set list for Ozzy Osbourne's NFL performance has not yet been revealed but there might be a likelihood that songs from his upcoming new album, which drops on September 9, hours after his performance, might be performed on the halftime show.

"Patient Number 9" packs a star-studded roster of featured artists. These include Jeff Beck, Pearl Jam's Mike McCready, Red Hot Chili Peppers Chad Smith, Tony Iommi, and the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

This was not the first time that Ozzy has performed in front of a live audience this year following his health scares.

Last month, he surprised everyone in Birmingham, England, for the Commonwealth Games. Reuniting onstage with Tony Iommi, the duo performed their 1970 hit song "Paranoid" along with their touring musicians: Adam Wakeman and Tommy Clufetos.

Ozzy Osbourne Leaving The US After Health Scare Recovery

Last week, news that the Osbourne family leaving the United States for good to go to the United Kingdom came about - citing the rampant gun violence in the country as the reason why. (via CBS News)

Ozzy has recently recovered after a strenuous major surgery and COVID-19 infection. But after "recuperating comfortably" Ozzy has already returned to the stage with the Birmingham reunion performance.

He and his wife Sharon Osbourne even got into a quick getaway vacation recently to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary - a strong indication that the vocalist is back on track again.

However, the resumption of the Black Sabbath tour has yet to be announced following their cancellation to accommodate Osbourne's health woes.
