Turns out, before his passing, Taylor Hawkins recorded plenty of songs that remain unreleased until now.

The late Foo Fighters drummer makes an appearance on Ozzy Osbourne's newest album, "Patient Number 9," surprisingly credited on 3 tracks on the latter's 13th album.

Andrew Watt, one of "Patient Number 9's" producers has revealed to Rolling Stone the interesting bit.

Apparently, Taylor Hawkins' "Parasite," "God Only Knows," and "Mr. Darkness" were the only three songs that were released on Ozzy Osbourne's new album.

Watt revealed to the publication that there is a "bunch of other stuff" that the late Taylor Hawkins has recorded along with Ozzy Osbourne on the new album. However, it would be reserved for future releases.

So this means that the three songs would not be the last time that everyone would hear unreleased songs where Taylor Hawkins' drumming power is exhibited.

Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins were both enlisted on Ozzy's new album. In the song, "God Only Knows," the two iconic drummers are both credited. (via NME)

Aside from Smith, Ozzy Osbourne's "Patient Number 9" have also recruited other prominent musicians like Jeff Beck, Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, and Eric Clapton.

In a Kerrang! interview, Ozzy Osbourne revealed that he did not know Taylor Hawkins until they worked together on his album. He also added that although she was not familiar with the drummer, playing with David Grohl and the Foo Fighters meant that he was good.

"When I met him, and from what I saw of him, he was a really nice man, one whose soul will surely last. I should imagine that everyone in that band was fucking devastated when the poor guy passed away," Osbourne told the publication about Hawkins' passing.

Taylor Hawkins tragically died in his hotel room in Bogota, Colombia last March. An initial toxicology report revealed that more than 10 substances were found in his bloodstream.

Hawkins' estate and Foo Fighters have mounted a two-part tribute concert in honor of the late drummer. The first one was held in Wembley Stadium in London last September 3. The Los Angeles leg of the concert will take place at Kia Theatre on September 27.
