Ozzy Osbourne has released the first installment of a three-part YouTube documentary chronicling the creation of his latest album, "Patient Number 9."

Jack Osbourne directed "When Ozzy Calls," which comprises bits of interviews with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, as well as contributions from producer Andrew Watt and musicians Zakk Wylde, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, Robert Trujillo, and Mike McCready.

Sharon Osbourne discloses in the video that Ozzy's scream of "Mummy!" at the beginning of the album's title track is a reference to her, and that the album's completion took far longer than anticipated due to Ozzy's continuous health struggles, which included a three-month hospitalization.

Then, Ozzy declared that he was in excruciating pain but miraculously he refrained from consuming happy juice and pills. The problem was that he acquired COVID-19. "Oh sure," says Ozzzy.

He said he was screwed.

In the first episode of the series, the contributors also disclosed what it meant to play on the record, with Duff McKagan describing the experience as "an honor" and Mike McCready stating that it was unbelievable for him.

The album was dropped on September 9. He said the album actually saved his life. Ozzy added that he was in a terrible situation, and music is the only thing he knows he can do. The European leg of Ozzy's tour begins in May of next year.

The video clearly demonstrated Ozzy's love for his wife. However, it should be noted that their marriage was also once in trouble and that they were once separated for three months. Ozzy and his wife shocked the world six years ago when they announced their separation due to the Black Sabbath star's infidelity.

The couple reconciled shortly after their separation, and their 40-year marriage has continued to flourish. Sharon chatted openly with former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel on her September 8th-released podcast, Just B. She revealed that she has known Ozzy since she was 18 and for him to be cheating on her at 60's just shocked her to the core.

It felt very disrespectful so she wanted him out of her house and life. It was Ozzy Osbourne who could not stay away from her and their family unit. So he changed his life. He quit drinking, for one. Sharon then gushed over her spouse and acknowledged that despite their ups and downs, they remain in a good place.
